Jill Chapman, Mrs. USA West Coast, won as Noble Queen Earth. Anna Robtsun, Mrs. Russia, won as Noble Queen Tourism. Beau Villanueva, Mrs. Australia, won as Noble Queen Globe. Maffi Papin Carrion, Mrs. Philippines Bicol, won as Noble Queen International. The first runner-up is Mrs. Ritchell Catt of Guam and 2nd runner-up is Sylvia Kim of South Korea.
Also given special awards in the Most Prominent Women Empowerment category are actresses Sanya Lopez, Ara Mina, Gladys Reyes and Marietta Subong aka Pokwang. Gladys, currently seen in the hit afternoon GMA-7 soap, “Madrasta”, is so pleased with her crown and declared in her acceptance speech: “Thank you po for this recognition. Dati po, Little Miss Philippines lang po ako pero ngayon, nakakatuwa na kailangan talagang mag-gown ako para sa koronang ito. Feeling ko po, beauty queen na rin ito.”
The Noble Queen finals night took all of six hours, with singer Malou Barry and presidential spokesman turning it into a concert and doing several song numbers to entertain the crowd who are waiting for the results of the pageant night.
Patricia’s husband, the very supportive chiropractor Dr. R*b Walcher, is understandably very proud of his wife and attended the affair with their two sons who are both also proud of their mother. The next Noble Queen of the Universe will be held in the U.S.A. next year and Patricia is sure to fly there to crown whoever her successor would be.
